Liverpool George
August 17th 1960, John and Paul with George Harrisonom (guitar), Stuart Sutcliffe (bass) and Pete Best (drums) arrived in Hamburg, a sister city of native of Liverpool to earn money and pay the penalty for their instruments. A few years later, reaching success, John Lennon said: "We were born in Hamburg." It was here that John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison met with drummer Ringo Starr and the first time in my short life, the group worked in a real studio. After returning home Quartet, Brian Epshteyn, owner of Liverpool recording studio became their manager and has done much to formation of the image of the Beatles as he is known all over the world.
